New 17-inch Envision Series LCD Raises Performance Standards for Televisions with PC Input; 15-inch Display is Value, Space-Savings Leader

FREMONT, CA, October 4, 2005 � AOC Displays, maker of AOC and Envision Series monitors and Envision Series flat-screen televisions, today launched a new line of Envision Series televisions with multifunction ability. Available in 15-inch and 17-inch models, the stylish flat panel units give cost- and space-conscious consumers everything they need to watch television or surf the Web in one high-performance device.

The new Envision Series 17-inch A17UX231 and 15-inch A15X221 multifunction units are perfect for home or work where space for separate television and computer monitor isn�t available.

Envision Series A17UX231
This new multifunction display raises the standard for display combos with its ultra-sharp image quality, featuring 1280x1024 resolution, and 700:1 contrast ratio. The unit�s fast response time of 8 milliseconds also ensures that fast-moving objects remain crystal clear in both TV and computer display mode. The 17-inch Envision Series model has a suggested retail price of $429.

Envision Series A15X221
This ultra-sleek model features 1024x768 resolution and 400:1 contrast ratio, providing excellent performance coupled with optimal space savings and value. The unit is ideal for crowded countertops or desktops. Available this month, the Envision Series A15X221 has a suggested retail price of $279.

The 15-inch and 17-inch LCD televisions include standard TV tuner and multiple connections for cable, video and PC inputs. Both come with built-in speakers, headphone output and remote control. Each unit is wall-mountable and comes with a 1-year warranty. The Envision Series A17UX231 will be available in November.
