Fremont, CA February 25, 2004 Envision Monitors has launched the newest addition to its award-winning series of LCD displays for the home and SOHO markets. The EN7220 is a 17 flat-panel monitor with flexibility features and enhancements that allow users to personalize and maximize desktop space.
Designed in collaboration with Lunar, an industrial design firm recently recognized by the BusinessWeek Industrial Design excellence awards, the EN7220 is fully customizable and competitively priced at $449. Convenient organizational add-ons include removable accessory holders, picture clips that mount to the side or top of the screen and a concealed storage tray in the base. These tools help eliminate clutter on the desktop while still making space for personal items.
The EN7220 features 25-degree tilt, 70-degree swivel, 110mm
height-adjustment and 90-degree pivot which allows the screen to switch between portrait and landscape mode. With these functions, users can easily adjust the screen to a position that is most comfortable and allows for the best viewing angle. This is especially beneficial in the home or small office where multiple people use the same screen and require different settings.
Measuring 15.1W x 9.1D x 15.7 19.9H, depending on the
height-adjustment, the EN7220s large display and ultra-thin body helps minimize space consumption. This monitor has also earned the EPA ENERGY STAR rating, as it consumes 60% less energy than comparable CRT monitors.
Over the last year, weve seen a huge rise in the demand for LCDs. Our customers are looking for monitors that take up as little space as possible while still providing an ample viewing area, and that wont break the bank, said Gary Bale, Vice President and Divisional Merchandise Manager at CompUSA. We think the range of adjustability features in Envisions EN7220 will make it a great seller, and were happy to include it in our line.
As the PC evolves into a vital tool of communication and entertainment, home and SOHO users are realizing the importance of finding a monitor that is customizable and reliable, said Michael Lien, general manager, consumer products division for Envision. With its cutting-edge enhancements and versatility, the EN7220 fits comfortably in the living room, home office and even bedroom. Without taking up too much space, it adds personal style and includes useful features. It is a great tool for people looking for top-quality equipment at a reasonable price.
Envisions EN7220 is currently available at major e-tailers and retailers, including CompUSA. The estimated street price is $449 and the monitor is backed by a three-year warranty.
