San Fransisco, Calif. - July 18, 2001 - Envision Peripherals, Inc., (EPI), a partially-owned company of Taiwan-based Top Victory Electronics (TPV), announced today that TPV has overtaken Philips� Electronics as the second largest PC computer monitor manufacturer in the world. According to the Market Intelligence Center, (MIC), Taiwan�s premier IT industry research and consulting firm, TPV surpassed Philips by a margin of more than 450,000 units shipped during the first quarter of 2001, bringing TPV�s quarterly results to 2.8 million units. For the 12th consecutive year, TPV has experienced continued growth in the display market, having shipped more than 12 million units in 2000.
